Laura Bland
Bariatric Center

Laura does a bit of everything at the Bariatric Center. She takes patients through the process of bariatric surgery and prepares them for their initial consult appointment and following evaluations necessary for surgery approval. She also handles insurance and scheduling issues, finances, and assists in the planning of various bariatric events.

Laura graduated from Bradley University with a bachelor of science in dietetics and nutrition along with a minor in health. She has spent several years as a certified fitness instructor, and is also up-to-date in both CPR/AED and Sanitation certifications. She has a vast background in fitness and dietetics.

Currently Laura also works as an adjunct instructor for Ivy Tech Community College teaching “Nutrition for Healthcare Providers.”
